Surf Ghana: As told by Sandy Alibo

I came across Sandy Alibo the founder of Surf Ghana. She'd started an all female skateboarding club. I used to skate as a kid so I was so excited when I reached out to her to make a film. I already had this idea that I would be making a film about a girl skate crew that were doing kickflips and ollies, grinding on poles- you know- real Tony Hawks, Rodney Mullen type shit. I got to Ghana and Instead found a community of diverse beautiful women (and men) so close that they seemed like a family. Better than my fantasy. It was a little adventure filming this and a small part of my dream come true.
